Welcome to the Digital-Cushion factory tour.
Our factory takes up the whole of the third floor of a mill like building on the outskirts of Yiwu city in Zhejiang Province. A huge airy space of 1780 square meters with big picture windows that look out over Yiwu airport and the mountains beyond. In early 2012 an investment of around £100,000 was made in the latest machines and equipment.
By Yiwu standards this is a modest sized factory, about thirty staff work here full time but with many more available at peak times. Production capacity is considrable with container load quantities been despatched weekly.
This family business is the brain child of Sandy and her husband Mark. They don't work exclusively for Digital Cushions, but Digital Cushions is a key principle customer, fully engaged in the day to day operations.
Quality is all import aspect of (see our quality guide), and all the workers are encourage to contribute ideas on how the standards can be improved. Regular QC meetings are held and recent work checked and discussed.
The textile workers employed are not your average machinists. This is a specialist area working with high-tech micro-fiber and takes particular skills. Finishing and stitching work has to be to an impeccable standard.

The factory only works with the high tech-micro fiber. This revolutionary new material feels like silk or 600 count cotton and wears and washes better that almost any alternative.
